The next PTO meeting is Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Portable 3, by the senior parking lot on Rural Road. Final meeting date for 2008-2009: May 5, 2009, also at 7 pm in Portable 3.

New PTO Board - Friday, May 23, 2008For 2008-2009, we have Co-Presidents: Becky Pena and Angie Thornton. Treasurer: Marcy Cavaretta. Secretary: Patty Hayes. One of our Teacher Appreciation Chairs, Janis Shafer, is continuing on with that position, with Jayne Sargent as Co-Chair. Other positions are listed on the PTO Board page.

Ø Provides Teacher Appreciation breakfasts, lunches and recognition; Ø Assists school clubs with supplementary funds; Ø Lists current news on the PTO website; Ø Sponsors parent and student workshops; Ø Works with Assistant Principal of Activities as PTO liaison; Ø Orders Senior plaques for the gym breezeway; Ø Awards three $500 college scholarships per year; Ø Sponsors Grad Night; Ø Publishes school calendar and lists calendar updates on the PTO website; Ø Sends email updates to those on PTO email list

Photography display is currently in the Library, through December 12. It can be viewed from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm on school days.
December 8: No NAHS art display in auditorium, due to construction.
February 2 - 13. National Art Honor Society (NAHS) Display, Auditorium Lobby.
February 10, 5:30 - 7 pm, NAHS Reception, Auditorium Lobby
February 26, 2009: Play - Auditorium
February Choir Concert: Friday and Saturday, February 27 and 28 (instead of Thursday and Friday)
Choir schedule updates: Choir tour dates - March 18 - 22, 2009
May Pops Concert: Thursday, Friday and Saturday May 7, 8, 9, 2009 (add Thursday concert, and take off Saturday matinee)
